چکیده

Enterprises such as companies, universities or institutes keep much documents, databases and/or softwares for their own functions. Such data materials should be managed properly. One of the important issues on management of materials is access control. This paper presents a formal model of access control of data materials in an organization that consists of a number of user groups. The model presented here is an extension of ambient calculus. As ambient calculus is introduced to model behavior of mobile systems such as agents accessing firewalls, it assumed that target systems have nested structures. We extend the calculus to represent unnested structures of user groups of materials. An example of user authentication protocol is presented.

A combination of semantic and attribute-based access control model for virtual organizations

A Virtual Organization (VO) consists of some real organizations with common interests, which aims to provide inter organizational associations to reach some common goals by sharing their resources with each other. Providing security mechanisms, and especially a suitable access control mechanism, which enforces the defined security policy is a necessary requirement in VOs. Since VO is a complex ...

A formal role-based access control model for security policies in multi-domain mobile networks

Mobile users present challenges for security in multi-domain mobile networks. The actions of mobile users moving across security domains need to be specified and checked against domain and inter-domain policies. We propose a new formal security policy model for multi-domain mobile networks, called FPM-RBAC, Formal Policy Model for Mobility with Role Based Access Control. FPM-RBAC supports the s...

A context-sensitive dynamic role-based access control model for pervasive computing environments

Resources and services are accessible in pervasive computing environments from anywhere and at any time. Also, due to ever-changing nature of such environments, the identity of users is unknown. However, users must be able to access the required resources based on their contexts. These and other similar complexities necessitate dynamic and context-aware access control models for such environmen...
